2 tbsp. granulated sugar
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1 large egg
Vegetable oil, for frying
- In a saucepan over medium heat, put water, butter, and sugar. Bring to a boil. Turn off the heat and add some flour and salt. Stir for about 30 seconds. Let mixture cool for 10 minutes.
- To the cooled mixture, add egg mix until combined. Put mixture to a piping bag with an open star tip.
- In a pot over medium heat, add enough oil to turn medium heat. Hold the piping bag above the oil, carefully pipe churros.
- Fry until golden brown for about 4 to 5 minutes. Remove churros from heat and immediately roll churros in cinnamon sugar, then place on a cooling rack.
- Serve churros.
